IMPHAL: Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP), Moirang Sakha under the aegis of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Manipur Prant observed ‘Van Mahotsav Week-2022’ today at Tronglaobi Makha Leikai in Bishnupur district.

As a part of the programme, 100 tree saplings were planted along Tronglaobi to Thoya Road led by Professor M Premjit Singh, former VC, CAU, Imphal and National Chairman (Environment), BVP in presence of Dr S Rajendra Singh, Regional Patron, Bimol Thapa, General Secretary, BVP, Imphal Sakha and Jibon Singh, President, BVP, Bishnupur Sakha, said a press release by BVP, Manipur Prant.

Van Mahotsav week is celebrated from July 1 to 7 every year to spread awareness of forest conservation and to save the environment.
