Bharat Vikas Parishad is a voluntary organization where citizens from all walks of life join to work for the development and growth of our country in all fields of human endeavour through promoting a sense of patriotism, national unity and integrity and culminating in Swasth-Samarth-Sanskarit Bharat i.e. physically, economically and morally strong India.
Our work can be broadly categoried into Service (sewa) and Educational (sanskar).
Serving the Divyang by manufacturing and providing them artificial limbs, taking up integrated village development of over 65 villages all over the country (providing tube-wells for water supply, toilets, constructing / renovating ponds, pathways, drains, class rooms, temples and even common crematoria), helping the tribal brethren, protecting environment by planting trees, organising health checkup and yoga camps, blood donation, setting up super specialty hospital and diagnostic centres, and whenever there is a national calamity, provide necessary help and undertake relief measures are some of the important Service projects. Our social compaigns include Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao and Nasha Mukti.
Our Sanskar projects are for the students, youth, women and the elderly. For the students, we organise Bharat Ko Jano quiz competition and chorus singing of patriotic songs competition and organise programmes in schools where students pay respect of their teachers. Students from colleges and professional institutes also participate in online Bharat Ko Jano quiz programmes. We organise simple mass marriages of poor young girls and boys and sanskar shivirs for the students, women and the elderly and seminars for the youth.
A family based voluntary organisation – Equally for the Students, Youth, Elderly, Men and Women
Our Vision is development and growth of Bharat, in all fields of human endeavour – cultural, social, academic, moral, national and spiritual culminating in Swasth- Samarth-Sanskarit Bharat i.e. physically, economically and morally strong India.
Our Mission is to organise the elite, intellectuals and the well-to-do citizens and to motivate them to serve our poor, disabled, illiterate and ignorant brethren not as an act of charity but in the true spirit of our cultural tradition of service as duty and also to transmit our cultural values to the younger generation.
