Justice D.R. Dhanuka (21 March, 1934 – 2 October, 2021)

We are very much pained to inform you about the sad demise of our (Bharat Vikas Parishad) National Patron Justice D.R. Dhanuka, who left for his heavenly abode on 2nd Oct.2021 at the age of 87.

Justice Dhanuka was associated with Bharat Vikas Parishad for a long period. He was the Prantiya President of BVP Maharashtra in 2001, National Vice President in 2002 & 2003 and later took up the responsibility of being the National President for 4 years from 2004 to 2008. Thereafter, he continued his services as National Patron of BVP.

Dhanuka ji was an eminent Justice of Bombay High Court, renowned scholar, educationist and philosopher. On his sad demise, Bharat Vikas Parishad, has lost a visionary, Philosopher and guide. We pray to the almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and enough strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Shri R.P. Sharma (8 June, 1938 – 17 July, 2021)

आदरणीय श्री आर पी शर्मा जी नहीं रहे पर उनका कार्य सदा अमर रहेगा
Shri R.P. Sharma graduated as Engineer in Telecommunications and did his post graduation in Business Administration. Joined Department of Telephones as ASDE and retired in 1998 as Director, Telecom (Govt. of India). Nation-wide PCO facility could become possible by his sincere efforts and farsightedness.

Joined Bharat Vikas Parishad Parivar in 1984 and remained Organising Secretary – Maharashtra State for five years. He was also All India Additional Secretary General. Working full time, he was National Secretary General from 2000 to 2004 and National Working President from 2004 to 2008. National President from April, 2008 to March 2012. In his death, Parishad has lost a philosopher and guide – great Karamyogi, patriot, well-wisher of the society. ओ३म् शान्ति शान्ति

Shri Jagmohan ji
(25th September, 1929 – 4th May 2021)

Our National Patron Shri Jagmohan ji left for his heavenly abode on 4th May 2021 at the age of 91. 
Shri Jagmohan served as Lt. Governor of Delhi as well as Governor of Jammu & Kashmir. Elected as Member of Parliament, he also served as Union Minister for Tourism & Culture. He was recipient of Padma Shri (1971), Padma Bhushan (1977) and Padma Vibhushan (2016).

Shri Jagmohan has been long associated with Bharat Vikas Parishad including working as its National Vice President and later its National Patron. All of us in Bharat Vikas Parishad offer condolences to the bereaved family. May God give eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to his family and his extended family of BVP workers to bear this loss. ओ३म् शान्ति शान्ति

Justice Rama Jois

With profound grief, we inform you that our National Patron Justice Rama Jois, left for his heavenly abode on 16th Feb. 2021 at the age of 89.

Justice Rama Jois was associated with Bharat Vikas Parishad from very long. He was Parishad’s National Working President for 15 years from 1985 to 2000 and National President 

for 3 years from 2000 to 2003. Thereafter, on his taking up the assignment as Governor of Bihar & Jharkhand, he continued as Patron of BVP.

Justice Rama Jois was an eminent Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana High Court, Prominent constitutional expert, renowned scholar, educationist, philosopher and an able parliamentarian.

On his sad demise, Bharat Vikas Parishad, has lost a visionary, Philosopher and guide. We pray to almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and enough strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Appeal to donate generously for recent unprecedented flood affected brethren in Bihar, Assam & Kerala.

As you are aware, country is already overwhelmed by Corona Pandemic, along with this now another crises has come by unprecedented rainfall in Bihar, Assam and Kerala which wreaked havoc across the region, making rivers overflow has killed nos. people and rendering millions homeless. The situation is very critical and grim and the worst in the living memory. A large number of affected people have been moved to the relief camps.

As a social organization, We Bharat Vikas Parishad has come forward once again to extend its contribution for immediate relief in affected areas and much required monetary help for basic essential goods to survive the Humanity.

An Appeal for Generous Help

As you are aware, the citizens of the country have been put to unimaginable hardships due to spread of COVID-19 which has now been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization. Government of India and state governments are striving hard to check the spread of the disease with the cooperation of the citizens. However, the task is enormous and it is the duty of each of us to contribute towards helping the families affected by the coronavirus.

As a social service organization, Bharat Vikas Parishad has always been in the front to extend a helping hand in times of crises. There is an urgent need to provide food, water, masks, sanitizers etc. to the migrant population. In this critical moment it becomes our moral duty and responsibility of all the members of Bharat Vikas Parishad to extend support to our brethren.

In fact Bharat Vikas Parishad, through its branches, has already started providing support in fight against COVID-19 by providing food and other logistics in combination with local administration. We have reports that as an immediate measure many of our branches including at Gurugram, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Ujjain, Sonepat, Raigarh, Bathinda, Palampur, Indore and Roorkee are providing assistance at very large scale costing crores of rupees.

At the national level, it has been decided to constitute “Bharat Vikas Parishad COVID-19 Relief Fund” to provide help to the sufferers of corona disaster. Celebration of "Janam Shatabdi Varsh" of Dr. Suraj Prakash ji

During Financial Year 2020-21 (1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021) Bharat Vikas Parishad will celebrate “Janam Shatabdi Varsh” of its founder Dr. Suraj Prakashji on completion of his 100th Birth anniversary.

The celebration will be by way of making documentary on the life sketch of Dr. Suraj Prakashji showing his vision, mission, personality and gratitude including his letters, speeches and stories about him by his fellow members and others in many more ways.

The Core Committee will form a Committee specifically for this purpose which will consider suggestions and decide the programs and functions to be organized at different levels and the actions to be taken at National level.
