Bharat Vikas Parishad  is privileged to honour Deendayal Shodh Sansthan, New Delhi with its prestigious Bharat Vikas Parishad Utkrishtata Samman for their excellent work in the field of Village Development. This honour was conferred in the All India National Conference held at  Chandigarh on 24th & 25th December 2011.  Estimated  2,850 delegates from all over the country attended the Conference. Dr. Bharat Pathak, National Secretary  accepted the Samman on behalf  of the Sansthan.

The Utkrishtata Samman Award has been constituted in the memory of Parishad’s Founder Dr. Suraj Prakash. This is the fourth year of the award. The selection was made by a Selection Committee headed by Honb’le Justice Ramesh Chand Lahoti Ex. Chief Justice of India which considered  nominations received from all over the country. Swami Gyananand ji alongwith  National President Shri R.P. Sharma,  National Working President Shri I.D. Ojha, National Secretary General Shri S.K. Wadhwa  and National Organising Secretary Shri Harish Jindal presented the award to  Dr. Bharat Pathak.  

In his acceptance speech Dr. Bharat Pathak said that the Deendayal Shodh Sansthan has decided keep the Award money as a corpus and from the interest accruing they propose to honour every year such villages who continue to work independently out of more than 500 villages in which they are conducting their activities.
