50th All India National Group Song Competition (NGSC)

The 50th All India National Group Song Competition, a prestigious event organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP), was held on December 15, 2024, at the SJR College Auditorium in Bangalore. This grand event, which has become a hallmark of BVP’s cultural initiatives, brought together a vibrant gathering of students, teachers, dignitaries, and members of the BVP family.

The inaugural ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by the soulful rendition of Vande Mataram, setting a harmonious tone for the day. The esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Ram Prasanth Manohar .V., IAS, Chairman of Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board, graced the occasion with his presence. Smt. Tejeswari ji was honored as the Guest of Honor. The event was further dignified by the presence of several national office bearers of BVP, including Sri D.D. Sarma, National Secretary General, Sri Suresh Jain ji, National Organizing Secretary, Sri V. Garg, National Additional Secretary General, and Sri Swadesh Ranjan Goswami, National Project Chairman, NGSC. Regional President Sri Rajan Valithan also graced the event. A large number of BVP family members, teachers, and students attended the program, making it a truly memorable gathering.

The competition concluded with the Prize Distribution and Valedictory Session. Sri Ram Lal ji, Akhil Bharatiya Sampark Pramukh of RSS, was the Chief Guest for the closing ceremony, while Justice Adarsh Goel ji, the National President of BVP, presided over the event, adding a special touch to the occasion.

The competition showcased exceptional performances across various categories. In the Hindi Song category, the BVP South Region emerged victorious, while the BVP North East team triumphed in both the Regional and Sanskrit Song categories. 

The event was a testament to the immense talent and dedication of the participants and further strengthened the cultural bonds within the BVP community.
