Each Member - Enroll One New Member
Our organization, Bharat Vikas Parishad,
substantial progress. Despite all ups and downs, Parishad has attained a place of pride among
the organizations doing social work. Running more than 1,250 branches with a
membership of more than 55,000 families is no small achievement.
But growth, progress, expansion are
all relative terms. How
much growth progress and expansion will we call satisfactory? Keeping in view
the huge population of our country, its bulging middle classes of 25 crores, the
vast multitude of urban elites, the number of branches and the membership seem
to be minuscule. Moreover making no progress means stagnation, and decay.
Let us once again remind ourselves why should
we enroll new members:
(1) New members join with a new zeal and ideas and spread our
massage among new people.
(2) Our branches become strong financially and new resources are discovered.
(3) Additional man power becomes available to execute Sewa & Sanskar projects.
(4) Usually some old members leave every year due to various reasons. The loss
is compensated by the new comers.
It is also equally important to stop old members from
leaving. Some members become inactive as they feel neglected and not being given
due respect and attention. Also the programmes of the branches are not very
attractive and interesting. The branch office bearers should contact such
members personally and try to remove the causes due to which the members are
leaving the branch.
The branch president and secretary should try to involve
maximum number of members in Sanskar and Sewa projects. They should be given
responsibilities in the projects of there liking. Also their names should appear
prominently in the news sent to the local newspapers and NITI.
