Be a partner in development of the Nation

Bharat Vikas Parishad is striving for the development of the Nation. You can also participate in this effort  by (a) becoming a member of Bharat Vikas Parishad, (b) enrolling yourself as a “Vikas Ratna” or “Vikas Mitra”  and (c)  donating for various sewa &  sanskar projects.

Clarification regarding Regional Patriotic songs and Folk songs
It is clarified that in the National Group Song Competition (NGSC), there will also be competition of regional patriotic songs (in addition of Hindi songs) while in National Sanskrit Group Song Competition (NSGSC) there will also be competition of folk songs (in addition of Sanskrit songs).

39th All India National Group Song Competition : 2013-14 (Ludhiana)
Thirty-ninth All India National Group Song Competition was held at Ludhiana (Punjab North) on the 16th-17th November 2013. Record number of  45 Prants participated. While 45 state/prant teams took part in Hindi Patriotic Group Songs, 31 state/prant teams participated in Regional Patriotic Group Songs from all over the country. The number of participants in both the categories is indicated below:

The programme was inaugurated by Sardar Prakash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab. Prominent amongst those who were present on the occasion included BVP's National President Justice (retired) Vishnu Sadashiv Kokje, National Working President Prof. Satya Prakash Tiwari, National Secretary General Shri Surinder Kumar Wadhwa, National Vice President & NGSC Chairman Shri Jaipakash Agarwal,  prominent Industrialists Shri Rajiv Nanachal, Punjab Public Works Minister Shri Sharanjit Singh Dhillon and Advisor to the Chief Minister Mahesh Inder Singh Grewal.

While addressing the mammoth gathering  Sardar Parkash Singh Badal impressed upon the need to establish a value based society. He called upon the eminent scholars and academicians attached with the non-political social organizations to further intensify their efforts to inculcate the spirit of nationalism and communal harmony amongst our young. He appreciated the  Parishad's work among the youth for preserving our rich cultural heritage.
