   Village-wise Progress
 
 
 

KALIWAS (RAJASTHAN)

It is a tribal village situated in Girwa Tehsil, Distt. Udaipur in Rajasthan and is about 40

Kilometers from Udaipur.
 

Works Undertaken :

(i)   The supply of water was maintained for drinking and irrigation from one new tube well with water tank.

(ii)   Deepening of 47 old wells.

(iii)  Garbage collection and disposal.

(iv)  Repairs of roofs by distributing 16000 manager tiles.

(v)   Two schools have been established for basic education.

(vi)  Landscaping with the assistance of forest department.

(vii) Kitchen Garden Seed packets of more varieties of vegetables were distributed,

(viii) Repair and cleaning of path ways and roads,

(ix)  Improving air quality by proper walls in houses,

(x)  Providing drinking water tank and accessories.

(xi)  Establishing a small training centre for various other vocations.

(xii) To reduce air pollution from smoke and dust.

KUMBARA KOPPALU (KARNATAKA)

Kumbara Koppalu is a small village situated at K.R Nagar, Taluk, Mysore District Karnataka State. It is 5 Km. from K.R. Nagar and 37 Kilometers from Mysore.

Works Completed

Drinking Water supplying programme : -

(a)        A borewell drilled more than 200 feet. Pure and good drinking water to the villagers provided. A tank which has got a capacity of storing more than 20000 Liters constructed.

(b)  Road Work

      Nearly 5000 meter road work completed. Metalling work also completed.

(c)  Drainage Work

      Drainage of the village is under progress.

(d)   Painting and repairs of school building, planting of trees on both side of the road are to be taken.

(e)  Toilet work is under progress.

Work to be undertaken :

      (i)   Providing Solar Street Lights.

      (ii)  Electrification of all houses.

      (iii)  Painting of all houses with the same colour.

      (iv)  Providing tailoring training to women & supply of sewing machines.


ILSOBA (WEST BENGAL)

ILSOBA village is situated in Hooghly Distt. of West Bengal and 67 Kilometers away from

Kolkata City.

Works to be undertaken:

(a)  Development of Link Roads.

(b)  Development of Ghats.

(c)  Construction of Guard Wall (Pond Majumdar)

(d) Plantation of Tulsi is each block.

(e) Installation of Hand Pump (Cylinder System) for drinking water.

(f)  Construction of a small building for Pathological Laboratory (250 sq. ft).

(g) Agri based self employment.

Completed one unit of Sanitation Project (Toilets, Urinals, Electrical, Lifting of Water by Motor Pump).


DUNGE (MAHARASHTRA)

It is situated in Bhiwandi Tehsil Distt. Thane, Maharashtra. It is 4 Kilometers from Bhiwandi and 20 Kilometers from Thane and 40 Kilometers from Mumbai (Airport). It is connected by road and situated on State/ National Highway-Bhiwandi to Wada. The village has a population of about 2500.

(a)   Works completed;

      (i)    Big drainage line completed.

      (ii)   Medium level and small level drainage completed.

      (iii)  Roads and streets repaired.

(b)   Works undertaken:

      (i) Whitewash work of all buildings,

      (ii) To provide drinking water

      (iii) Plantation of trees.

 

LOHAT BADDI (PUNJAB)

Lohat Baddi Village is situated in Tehsil Raikot, Distt. Ludhiana. Its distance from Ludhiana is 40 Kilometers. 

Works  Completed:
1
. Repairs of roads and drainage system.
2
. Uniforms and school bags provided to 500 school children.
3. Provision of drinking water by installing 3 tanks.
4. Repairs and renovation of rooms of Govt. Primary school.
5. Neat and clean beddings provided to 58 aged persons.
6
. Plantation of 1000 trees of different varieties.
7
. White wash of all buildings of the village in yellow colours.

. With the inspiration that the villagers received through the execution of the above programs the villagers constructed a new and modern funeral ground which is fitted with the latest facilities.

It is worth mentioning that the officials of the Punjab Govt. visited this village and appreciated the work undertaken by the Jindal Foundation.
