 OTHER REPORTS FROM THE PRANT

 

Agartala, Tripura : The workshop cum joint annual conference of Agartala East & West branches was organized and conducted on 6th May 2012 at Tripureswari Shishu Mandir School conference Hall.  State President Shri Dhirendra Kalai presided over the first session. All India Zonal Organizing Secretary Smt. Bina Bora was the chief guest who came from Dibrugarh (Assam). Other honourable dignitaries like Dr. Prof. Sitanath Dey,  Shri Dipak Ranjan Bhattacharya and educationist Shri Chitta Ranjan Chakraborty were seated on the dais. The welcome address was given by the State General Secretary Smt. Ranju Roy and then an elaborated organizational speech by Smt. Bina Bora the Chief Guest regarding BVP,'s constitution stages of administrative and Organizational structure and function of the various field works like social cultural educational Health and National activities which she pointed out stage by stage. Bharat Gourav Prof. Sitanath Dey cited various examples regarding organization and other activities of the BVP. In the Second Session Submission of the annual report and annual accounts 2011-12 both by the Branch Treasurer was done.

Workshop
The Tripura State organised a State Level Workshop at Agartala Red Cross Society Hall on 13.09.2008 under the Presidentship of Sri Dhivendra Kalai. State President in which the National Finance Secretary Sr. Harish Jindal, as a chief guest, National Addl. Secretary General Prof. Haridas Sarkar as the Guest of houour, the Zonal organising Secretary Smt. Bina Bora, as the special guest and Bharat Gaurav Dr. Sitanath Dey, Former State president were on the dais. All the office bearers of six branches of Tripura were present on the occasion. Inaugural Session: The welcome address was delivered by the State Secretary.

Bharat Gaurav Dr. Sitanath Dey former State President spoke on the important items regarding the greatness of Indian culture. Prof. Haridas Sarkar, National Addl. Secretary General addressed the workshop on public relations, membership expansion programme of the current year. Shri Harish Jindal, National Finance Secretary explained the Management of financial Accounts & Audit and Fund raising accounts keeping system. He also awarded a cheque of Rs.10,000 to the President of Dharmanagar branch (North Tripura) for their best services rendered to the down trodden people of the rural area.
